Our Journey

How it started & how it is going....

"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

We always think we know what we want, but then God throws something new and challenging at us!

Meet Stephanie, our owner!

I always knew I wanted my own store at some point, but thought I would start out working for someone else first. Little did I know, that was about to change real fast!

I graduated from Clemson University in May 2013, planning to move far off for a job in the fashion industry or some sort of outside sales to get my foot in the door somewhere. I met my husband in June and landed a job locally 3 weeks later. I was in corporate sales for a large company when I started the Swaggin' Wagon on the side.

The Swaggin' Wagon originally started in 2014 as a hobby. Later that year, I quit my full-time job and pursued Smoore.Designs - Swaggin' Wagon full time. At the age of 22 I was running my own business. Like, what?!?

I got engaged in July of 2015 and married that November. My husband has continued to support this crazy business from the start. They literally thought I was crazy when I first told them about my idea. Well, here we are many years later! (proved him wrong, didn't I?!?!)
We have continued to journey with Sophia (the Swaggin' Wagon)  and it has been such a blessing!

Early 2018, we got some exciting news & plans changed quickly. We started hunting for some property to purchase in town to open a storefront because we welcomed a baby girl in August of 2018! We could NOT be more obsessed with a tiny human. We ALSO opened our storefront in August of 2018. Just a tad bit of chaos. Hannah (the store manager) came along just in time and SAVED us before the baby! She has made life so much easier for us all and treats this little store like hers! We are so thankful for her and her commitment!

In 2020, we have welcomed a new mobile boutique, while Sophia got a new home! She is beautiful and everything we have dreamed of. We are expanded the salon portion of our store & love every minute of this chaotic growth.

We have now sold our newer mobile boutique and are operating online & brick and mortar only! We love seeing everyone's faces everyday and shipping out orders to all of our customers!

We are SO blessed to still be in this business and are so thankful for all the support we have received in this small town and nationwide!"

Cheers to many more years!
